You must be at least 18 years old to use Text THAT Friend. By opting in, you confirm you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to terminate access if we have reason to believe a user is under 18.
Text THAT Friend is an AI-powered chatbot delivered via SMS. You text our number, and an AI responds in the persona of a brutally honest, sarcastic friend. Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and do not represent the views of Summit Send Labs LLC or any human employee.
The service is not a substitute for professional advice — medical, legal, financial, psychological, or otherwise. Do not make important life decisions based solely on responses from this service.
By texting our number and replying YES to our opt-in prompt, you consent to receive SMS messages from Text THAT Friend. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.
You may opt out at any time by texting STOP. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent. You may restart the service at any time by texting us again.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel your VIP subscription at any time by texting UNSUBSCRIBE, which will provide a link to manage your subscription.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@textthatfriend.com with any billing issues.

AI responses are not always accurate, reliable, or appropriate for your specific situation. We make no warranty that responses will be factually correct, safe, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Text THAT Friend is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the service is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Summit Send Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Text THAT Friend. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top when we do. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.
